Country Director - Ariel Duenas
Ariel Duenas is one of the most experienced overseas managers at Global Media Projects. He has been arranging overseas placements in Mexico for nearly ten years.
Ariel lives with his partner Rossy and daughter Arielle in Guadalajara, the main base of our projects in Mexico.
A keen conservationist, Ariel was instrumental in setting up our turtle projects on the Pacific coast of Mexico and often visits the turtle camp with his family and faithful dog to help out at weekends.
Ariel is passionate about Mexico and deeply committed to ensuring everyone who joins us in Mexico thoroughly enjoys the experience.
During his ten years arranging projects in Mexico, Ariel has built up and extensive network on contacts throughout Mexico which has enabled us to offer such unique and demanding programmes.
Puerto Vallarta Manager - Alfredo
Alfredo is responsible for looking after our volunteers based in Puerto Vallarta and also for meeting people at the airport who will be working at the turtle camp. Alfredo has been working with Ariel for at least 7 years and they make a great team.
Alfredo is also a keen conservationist and has extensive experience working at various turtle camps.
A keen surfer, Alfredo also teaches our surf course in Puerto Vallarta.
Turtle camp manager - Israel
Israel is a leading biologist and heads the research team at the turtle camp. Israel's expertise not only covers turtles, he's also a leading expert on some of the bird, reptile, bat and plant life on the pacific coast.
Israel is also a keen adventure sportsman and can often be found kite-surfing at the beach.
