TV broadcast journalism placements

Television broadcast journalism placements in Mexico

Our TV placements are based at a large state run TV station and a private Cable TV company in Guadalajara. The TV stations are involved in a wide variety of programming, from news and current affairs to coverage of a number of entertainment and cultural events.

You might be based in the studio working as production assistant or researcher, or you could be with a camera crew at a press briefing or outside broadcast. The programs are broadcast in Spanish so a good level of Spanish language is essential, even if you would like to be involved in production.

Opportunities also exist in front of the camera but you must be fluent in Spanish if you would like to be involved in broadcast roles.

Accommodation on this project is with families, usually sharing with another volunteer. You will be joined in Guadalajara by others on our medical, teaching and business projects. For more click here>>
